6/12, in the afternoon Mum texted me saying she did an impromtu booking for Jersey Boys at 8PM and so we got dinner at the food court after work and guys it was a phenomenal musical I highly recomment it to everyone
7/12, today concludes the two weeks of the law programme I signed up for in September. I was assigned to Group 31 and got separated from every single being I actually knew, or even recognised. Two days into the programme and no one spoke to each other still. It's funny because now I get alerts from whatsapp at least every hour or so, and Blossom is very adamant about teaching us how to play mahjong when she gets back from Europe. There isn't really anything I can say about the week of internship other than it confirming my suspicions of my inability to sit in a chair/same space for more than an hour. It got to a point where I would stand at the corner of the meeting room to read the cases and simultaneously hope that someone would give me work that involved movement of any sort (photocopying or making coffee). Also guys should any officer ever tell you whatever you say will be taken court, trust that guy. It was so amusing to read the transcripts of trials. Also sat in for live trials, watched a man receive his death sentence (http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/singapore/story/yishun-triple-murder-accused-sentenced-hang-20121130) and also a rapist get acquitted of his charge (http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/1240322/1/.html). Court hearings have demolished my false assumptions of criminal law, it is a lot more exciting than it seems really.
