But first, let me start with a selfie.
It's nearly the end of April. That translates to one more grueling month of internship before I retreat into a 10 day yoga hole and starting on a new job again. Yesterday I had 3 back-to-back AGMs and I have another one scheduled on Tuesday. I love it when I get to attend AGMs, it means I don't have to sit on the office chair and struggle with finding some reason to have to move around constantly. I get to stand throughout the job and that makes my back happy. When my back is happy, I am happy.
In my subtle attempt to archive my inner monologue and daily happenings, here is a break down of today:
woke up at 730am
juiced for breakfast
made falafels
did my IELTS speaking test, brought up things I would have been uncomfortable speaking about in the past but I'm glad I can now do it without feeling bad/anxious
had lunch
did shopping, got good deals
afternoon tea at TWG, the chai blend gave me a headache
talked lots with Mum
felt happy throughout the day
minestrone soup and grilled seafood for dinner
swam for 30mins
cleaned make up brushes
need to wash compression tights
Have been spending the past few Saturdays in town with Mum. I don't have many of these weekends left. It reminds me that my parents are getting older too, and Mother's Day is in 2 weeks. I already have a couple surprises planned :)
