Gawk

Some updates on what's been going on in my kitchen

Left: Miso eggplant chips I made this morning because we had to clear old produce. Came up with a recipe on a wimp by stirring some miso, mirin, rice vinegar and a splash of water topped with toasted sesame seeds and into the oven they went. They came out beautiful, was pleasantly surprised and now the cookie jar (which never has cookies) is filled with these afternoon bites

Center: A spin on my usual oatmeal breakfast. Had yogurt today. Feel uncertain about trying out overnight oats. Cannot buy into the idea of consuming uncooked oats

Right: Dinner I made last night. Fish broccoli old cucumber soup

Some updates for school

I am the council's new publicity officer which means public speaking and the only person I talk to is myself and shit I can't do this

Have been conciously neglecting anything academic-related, bad call
Feel like my thing with academic validation has broken off ever since 12 November came
What's been going on I can't tell
Seems like I'm barely scraping through this break
Even though I have been busy with nothing
Discrepancies
I spend most of my awake time waiting for an appropriate time to go back to sleep
And in between all that I spend it in the kitchen or on the bicycle or at my electone

Some things happening soon

Afternoon appointment tomorrow
Morning lessons on Saturday 24th
Errands and itinerary planning on Sunday 25th
Law conference on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th
Job shadowing at Gateway Law for a week starting Wednesday 28th to Wednesday 5th Dec
Supreme Court visit on Thursday 29th
Grandma arriving from Bangkok on Saturday 1st Dec
Other court visits on Thursday 6th Dec
Closing ceremony on Friday 7th Dec
Nothing else from mid December onwards till New Year's
Where I will be packing for trip to Hong Kong
Also reading as many books as possible before the year ends

What really knocks me out
Is a book that
When you’re all done reading
You wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours
And you could call him/her up on the phone whenever you felt like it
